Why 2019 is the year to start book cover photography

I stumbled across a great article about book sales and how physical book sales are increasing if anything, please I encourage you all to look if you’re interested.

I read all kinds of articles regarding book sales, e-book sales because they do directly effect me and my business. I’m kind of glad e-books are just starting to die down again and physical books are coming back because I’ll be blunt; e-books don’t demand as much money for covers, physical books do though.

So if you want 2019 to be the year of breaking into book covers, it really is the year for it! Publishers are working harder than ever, designers are pushing the boundaries and creating some stunning covers. Why not be part of it, be creative and even better? Get paid for it! Sounds like a win win to me!

Don’t forget to check out my other blog posts in the book cover tab but if it’s not enough information don’t hesitate to get my course so you can really hit the ground running.

Whether you’re wanting to make some money through your old images, instead of collecting virtual dust on a hard drive. Maybe you’re a wedding photographer looking to side hustle during the winter months! Or maybe books are life and you just want your photography to be published on a book cover! Whatever your reason 2019 is the year to start for sure!

  1. It’s easy to start

  2. If you have a ton of old images, they are usable, make money from them!

  3. Such a good side hustle with minimal input other than simply uploading photos

  4. No marketing or social media skills needed, agencies do that for you!

  5. Not much effort needed other than your photography which you may already have or you do anyway!

I’ll be providing a monthly theme/genre for people to get involved with too, so we all stay inspired and keep churning out good quality photographs to add to our portfolio. So please feel free to get involved by subscribing.
